Job Description

Senior Electronics Engineer

This company located in Spokane, WA is a value-added electronic manufacturing service (EMS) provider to some of the world’s leading OEMs is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer for a direct hire opportunity!

The selected candidate will develop complex state-of-the-art electronic hardware and firmware for products.  With broad scope of responsibility, performs product and design development activities including interpretation and implementation of customer specifications.  Programs microcontrollers.  Provides existing product line support in design activities and/or modifications. May provide work direction and training to lower level professional and technical support staff.  Interfaces with customers regarding design and technical issues.

The selected candidate will design electronic circuits, components and integrated systems for products that conform to customer specifications and government agency regulations. Oversees product development and assures timely completion of design, procurement, assembly, and testing. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in electronics or computer science, and five-seven years of progressive experience in electronic engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional publications, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. 

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, engineers, clients, and customers. Applied engineering mathematics, statistics, and business and economic analysis. Familiarity with the following software: schematic capture packages, spreadsheet, database, and word processing.

Ability to develop and execute design of experiments. Experience in Contract Manufacturing preferred.  Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish, Vietnamese, and/or Chinese.
