About You: 

You are passionate about building innovative integrated electronics from scratch that improve awareness, effectiveness, and safety of our end-users, from elite military forces to the general public. You enjoy working for an industry disruptor leveraging modern IoT and cloud-based technologies coupled with creative hardware solutions to solve complex problems. 

You have experience developing integrated systems from scratch to production and will lead the rapid design of engineering concepts and quickly turn them into functional prototypes with a productization mindset.

What You'll Do: 

  • You will plan & lead the electrical design and system architecture of new and derivative product designs.
  • Have the opportunity to mentor and validate other electrical engineers, output, while also providing strong individual contributions through technical hands on work.

What You'll Bring: 

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 7+ years of hands-on embedded system design including digital processing and algorithm development
  • Extensive experience with writing embedded C firmware code.
  • Experience in a full hardware/software development cycle from concept to deployment
  • Fluent with C in embedded microcontroller and ARM processor architectures
  • Experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously and meticulously tracking milestones
  • This person will possess out-of-the-box creativity and have a passion for electrical design along with strong problem-solving skills, excellent technical writing, verbal communication, presentation skills, and a knack for hands-on development and testing
  • Experience with FPGA development for high speed digital electronics systems and VHDL are pluses
  • Experience with in-situ sensing technologies, such as weather, air quality, LIDAR, RADAR, and/or acoustic sensing preferred. Experience with wireless communication technologies for IoT devices is a plus.
