Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Social Responsibility Auditor for a large electronic manufacturing company located in Elk Grove CA.

Ideal candidate will manage a team or as individual conduct audit and reviews the performance of internal audits, ensuring that internal audits comply with applicable SR standards (Customer’s Social Responsibility), LHR (Labor Human Resource)/EHS (Environmental Health and Safety), SMAQMD (Sacramento Metro Air Quality Management District) EPA regulations, and guidance (e.g., ISO 9001 or 14001) that resulting reports are fair, impartial, and practical.

Responsibilities

•       Design and implement safety site audits that complaints to ISO 9001 and 14001 to identify risks and show improvement.

•       Ensure compliance with statutory requirements from agencies such as Federal and

•       California OSHA, EPA, DTSC, SMAQMD and local regulatory agencies.

•       Identify Enterprise and Operational risks to the business and be able to develop a mitigation plan.

•       Design and execute an integrated strategy that meets EHS and OSHA standards to
ensure our business units achieve our safety expectations.

•       Innovate the process for reporting, investigating and communicating accidents,
hazards and concerns.

•       Support sites with emergency response preparation, including emergency plans,
training and coaching.

•       Design, launch and standardize processes for ergonomics, risk assessment and safely leadership/coaching, equipment safeguarding and injury prevention.

•       Design and develop safety training materials to conduct internal trainings

Qualifications:

•       Bachelor’s degree in Environmental science, Occupational Health Applied Sciences or relevant field.

•       2+ years of progressive environmental health and safety audit management
experience.

•       Fluent knowledge of OSHA regulations is required

•       Regulatory and compliance experience preferred

•       Ability to apply 8D/FEMA method to analyze and develop problem solving\

•       Certifications as an ISO auditor and DOT & Hazardous Materials, and other
industrial related certification a plus.
