Position Title:

Sr. Production Scheduler

Rate: $29/hr


Production Scheduling



The Sr. Production Scheduler coordinates the workflow of materials between departments according to production schedule.



Distributes production, shipping, and work schedules, conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates.

Reviews production schedules and work orders to determine materials requirements and priorities.

Confers with purchasing department and materials warehouses to requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.

Reviews and compiles reports on production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures.

Assists in the revision of production schedules as necessary due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.

Provides documentation and information to account for delays, difficulties, or changes to cost estimates.

Associate's Degree

Accounting, Business, Logistics or related field.


Work Experience


Experience Details



2-4 years

scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.


1-2 years

experience providing work direction to others.


Required Skills

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.

Demonstrates ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.

Knowledge of manufacturing and/or business principles.

Ability to work with limited supervision.
