Job Description

 Volt is actively recruiting for a Supplier System Engineer to work with a Aerospace/Defense device manufacturing company in the city of Irvine, CA.

Shift: 1st Shift 

Pay Rate: $ Depending on Experience.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrate strong commitment to developing a culture of safety ethics and compliance at all levels of the organization

• Help define, document, implement, manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System under the ISO 9001:2015 standard; including management of the internal audit program, coordination and management of surveillance and recertification audits and revision and release of controlled documents

• Actively involved in making culturally based improvements to quality systems and procedures. Examples include ensuring systems and procedure properly drive a culture of trust and respect.

• Implement documented quality systems and quality database to ensure data is captured and can be used for future improvement efforts

• Ensure robust Quality processes are built into all manufacturing systems

• Drive root cause and corrective action projects

• Lead the execution and improvement of quality assurance and quality systems activities

• Provide management with technical guidance as required

• Develop and deliver training to teams as needed

• Assist and/or manage plant projects and drive to completion

• Constantly learn new things—and share them with team members

• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business


• Bachelor's degree required (engineering or IT discipline preferred)

• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standard

• 5+ years Quality Assurance and Compliance

• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Words, Power Point..)

• Ability to communicate orally and in writing effectively with managers, supervisors, peers and subordinates

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Well organized and able to meet deadlines

• Self-starter, results-oriented and the ability to work with a sense of urgency in a rapidly environment

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability
