Supply Management Specialist in Rock Island, IL at Volt

Volt is seeking a Supply Management Specialist to work onsite at John Deere’s distribution center in Rock Island, IL.  This is a contingent position forecasted for one year.  This is a 1^st shift opportunity – hours from 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3pm.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain or Business discipline; will consider new grads

Required Skills:

• Understanding of the Order Fulfillment Process
• Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• Experience in specific areas of Supply Management such as:  supplier integration, strategic supply management, supplier development, module supply management, scheduling, forecasting, logistics, etc.
• Work experience in a team environment
• Strong communication skills experience with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, basic formulas)
• The ideal candidate will also have experience with various Deere systems and processes such as: CPS-QWS3270; SAP Business Objects; JDSN (for PCAs, AE, JDCROP, etc.); Parts Expert; JD Point; Part Number Adoption (PNA); and SharePoint

*** Seeking a local candidate in the Quad City area.  This position will start remote due to COVID, but once the John Deere facility reopens, the incumbent will be required to be onsite in Rock Island, IL. ***

Must be available to work on W2 for Volt.  No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
