Job Description

Exciting Opportunity!  Volt is Hiring a Customer Service Specialist for a Biomedical Device Company in RTP! Order processing experience is a must. SAP or Oracle experience is a must. 

Hours Mon-Fri 9am-6pm; Work Remote Part of the day

Once a month Mon-Fri 11am-8pm (earlier Fri Shift) 

Temporary to Hire Opportunity; Weekly Pay

DOE $20/hr plus

Job Purpose:

The Customer Services Specialist is responsible for providing superior customer service to physicians/surgeons and their office/clinical staff, wholesalers, distributors and sales force. The main focus is to provide accurate information, assist customers at the first point of contact and ensure their product requests and questions are addressed regarding use of surgical products.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working in an environment where product order requests are delivered via phone, emails and other communications systems.
  • Enter orders for customers, distributors and sales force using an on-line order entry system called SAP. Continually verifies the accuracy of all data entered in the system.
  • Provides product technical support to customers, distributors and sales team.
  • Communicates regularly with customers, distributors and sales force to trouble shoot issues (product, shipping, pricing, invoicing, etc.) and provides resolution in order to restore confidence in products and services.
  • Assist with product complaints
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Prepares reports an analysis for daily orders, product samples and other reports. 


Education and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of college business related courses Associate degree in Business or Marketing or a BS 
  • Minimum three (3) years successful customer service/customer contact experience involving problem resolution and order entry using an on-line computer terminal
  • SAP Experience is a must
