Job Description

Volt is currently looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of power testing instruments and electronics systems including programmable AC Power Source and DC Power Supplies, AC loads and DC Electrical equipment in various industries.

The successful candidate will:

  • have experience in both technical and non-technical recruiting, from administrative assistants to manager or director level candidates.
  • have diligence, focus, and some tenacity.
  • have a good task management and follow-up skills as frequent interruptions are common.

Essential duties:

  • Search recruiting databases for candidates that meet job descriptions
  • Interview perspective candidates to determine applicability for positions and make recommendations to hiring managers about candidates
  • Arrange onsite interviews, and follow-up with managers on interviews, status etc.
  • Attention to detail is a MUST to ensure company processes are followed, relevant information is tracked and archived fully
  • Ensure that I-9, EC O, and AAP processes are followed and maintained
  • Provide offer letters, benefits and other company information to candidates requesting this information

Other Duties:

  • Candidate must have working knowledge of recruiting and recruiting tools
  • Good communication, follow up, and attention to detail are required skills
  • Perform candidate reference checks and coordinate background checks with outside vendor
  • Ability to work with MS office tools
  • Ability to be mentored and learn company processes, procedures, and tools

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years technical recruiting experience
  • Working knowledge of industry recruiting tools and MS Office
  • Strong written and verbal skills, both in person and on telephone
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
  • Critically detailed oriented
  • Knowledge of state and federal hiring and applicable labor laws
  • Ability to multi-task and handle many concurrent activities
