Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking Technician IVs for our client in Albuquerque, NM. Our client a leading provider of high efficiency solar cells, solar panels, and composite structural products for satellite and aerospace applications. We are the world’s only vertically integrated, end-to-end supplier of satellite solar arrays.

You will responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and troubleshooting of assigned equipment to ensure that the equipment is running safely and efficiently to meet production objectives while consistently working on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. You Must be able to complete training and testing required to be able to perform work while utilizing a Full Face Air Purifying Respirator (APR) and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).

Shift: 6:00am – 6:30pm Sunday through Tuesday with alternating Wednesdays.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots, maintains and ensures uptime on all applicable equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair/calibration of one or more key process equipment and systems
• Analyze equipment problems and suggest/implement repairs.
Identifies nonconformances when they occur and participates in finding the solution to the nonconformance

• Serve as member of Emergency Response Team.

Experiences you should have:
• Knowledge of and ability to work with wide range of manufacturing equipment, including Etch, Metal Evaporators, Epi Reactors, Probers, Photolithography equipment, Analytical equipment and Dicing Saws
• Knowledge of low and high vacuum systems, RF systems, high voltage, compressed gas systems and gas control systems
• Solid understanding of electro-pneumatics, digital and analog electronics and control systems
• As a highly skilled specialist, contributes to the development of concepts and techniques
 

Physical and Environmental Demands:

• The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; talk or hear; taste or smell

• The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

• Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles

• Physical agility and endurance to work in the cramped environments occasionally encountered in equipment maintenance

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• Cleanroom protocol is required.

Required Education

• BS or BA.  Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
