Test Technician in McKinney, TX at Volt

Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking qualified Electronic Technicians to work for our Aerospace client in McKinney , TX.  This is a 2nd shift position. Local candidates are preferred. Candidates with Active Secret Security Clearance Highly Desired. 

SHIFT: 2ND ( Some training on first)
HOURS: 2pm - 10pm (ability to work over-time and weekends)

Required Skills:

• 1-2 years work experience in assembly or test operations

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

• Computer literate to access work instructions, complete data entry and online training

• Aptitude for troubleshooting and solving problems

• Superior communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Previous or current security clearance

• Experience working in an engineering environment and reading engineering prints

• Understanding of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and FOD reduction/prevention methods

• Experience handling electro static discharge (ESD) sensitive items Honorable military service a plus
