Thermal Engineer in Cupertino, CA at Volt

Job Description

Volt's client, a consumer electronics company, is looking for a Thermal Engineer for a contract opening located in Cupertino, CA.

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all thermal objectives are met or surpassed in order to optimize the user experience of the customers.

Key qualifications:

• Conduction, convection (passive and active), and radiation
• At least 3 yrs of product development experience; Hands on thermal testing
• Statistics/mathematics/6-sigma background
• CFD (Icepak or StarCCM+) 
• Statistics/mathematics/6-sigma background
• scripting languages (perl, tcl, etc.)
• MATLAB or equivalent toolkit
• flow and thermal measurement techniques of materials and manufacturing processes

 Education: MS (ME) or AA
