Warehouse Forklift Operator

***Immediate Opportunity***

Volt is immediately hiring Forklift Operators for a local leading organization in Construction and Home Improvement materials.

Weekly Pay, Consistent Hours and Schedule, Temp to Hire.

As a Forklift Operator you will:

• Pick orders
• Perform general warehouse duties
• Prepare inventory/parts/merchandise for shipment
• Use RF device to track inventory picked and located
• Operate safely, adhering to all OSHA and site- specific standards
• Use forklift, stock pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks to load/unload trucks in warehouse
• Transport inventory via forklift and other warehouse equipment to and from the loading/unloading/staging areas
• Accurately pick merchandise/inventory from warehouse locations/racking using forklift, stock pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks

Forklift candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Reach Lift Experience. 
• 2+ years of recent forklift operator experience
• Ability to consistently lift 40-50 pounds
• A valid state-issued driver’s License
• Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements

We have job openings on both the first shift (Monday - Friday from 5AM - 1:30PM) and on the second shift (Monday - Friday from 1PM - 9:30PM)

Pay for this position is $21.50/hr plus overtime as needed.

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Material Handler
• RF Scan Gun
• Warehouse Work
• Current forklift operator certification
• Counter balance Forklift
