Job Description

Volt are seeking a Warehouse/Small Packaging to become an integral part of our team! 

We are looking for Production employees that do not mind the challenge of a 12 hour/rotating swing shift. In this position, you will perform a variety of general manual labor tasks, including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of materials, loading and unloading vehicles, and other activities in a helping or assisting mode. May involve some heights and heavy lifting of 45 pounds or more. This is working for a chemical processing company in Cordova, IL.

Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Worker receives and reads customer order to identify items to be pulled and verifies stock availability. Fills customer orders in accordance with specifications on order form. Prepares items for shipment by assembling, addressing, stamping, and arranging for the transportation of products. Loads and unloads trucks, railway cars, and/or aircraft. Moves material within a warehouse or storage facility using material handling equipment. Enters product information into computer database and verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Operates industrial trucks or tractors equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar location. Requires forklift certification.

  • Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material
  • Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
  • Arrange appropriate transportation of products
  • Assist customers with shipping inquiries
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned


  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields
  • Ability to handle physical workload
