Warehouse Production Operator in Edison, NJ at Volt

Job Description

Manufacturing company located in Edison, NJ needs Production Operators for their night shift! This position is responsible for monitoring and inspecting the closures coming off the production line for quality defects.

The Production Operator is also responsible to package the products according to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect manufactured closures to ensure quality standards are met, package closures according to procedures, and follow all GMPs. 
• Preparing boxes, rotating boxes, closing of the full boxes, stacking boxes on pallets, identifying boxes using correct labels Maintain ISO standards and safety standards
• Will be running two machine lines simultaneously

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or comparable experience; food grade experience highly desired
• Must be able to lift and stack boxes weighing up to 30 pounds

Schedule:
7:00 PM -7:00 AM
weekend schedule twice a month 
 

Pay Rate:
$ 15.75/hr.
