Volt Workforce Solutions is supporting a long term Manufacturer in Oceanside to fulfill a Calibration Operator position.

Schedule: 7 am to 4:00 pm
Pay rate $17.00/hr

Operator will perform calibration and certify products and accessories to meet tolerances and product specifications according to standard operating procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

Calibrating and certifying products and accessories to meet tolerances and product specifications.

Configure and load software on customer computers.

Identify units & accessories that fail tests or tolerance levels and may repair as necessary.

May participate and conduct internal audits.

Maintain the work load which is designed to meet production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products.

Follows defined calibration techniques and processes according to standard operating procedures to provide product quality assurance.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Supports organizational policies related to safety, environmental protection, housekeeping, etc. within area of responsibility.

Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities that positively affect safety, the environment, quality, reliability, and productivity or improve the overall suitability and effectiveness of the management system, its processes and products.

Required to incorporate clean work practices in daily working routines.

Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills.

Education and/or Experience.

Team Player -- supports teammates and colleagues.

Strong organizational skills.

Requires 3 years of experience in the _Metrology_ field or in a related areas.

Requires a high school diploma or GED.

May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in calibration software.
