Job Description

Volt has several opportunities for entry level engineers to work as a 3rd Shift Quality or Manufacturing Engineer onsite at our client, John Deere, located in Waterloo, IA in a contingent position forecasted for 1+ year.  We are looking for recent Industrial Technology/Engineering 2020 graduates ideally already local to the Midwest.

Within this role, you will be working out on the shop floor so you must be comfortable in this environment. These openings will mainly be 3rd shift (10:30 pm to 7:00 am) but candidates must be open to both 3rd and 1st shift. Overtime is likely, weekend and before shift starts.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology or Engineering
  • Candidates must have completed and internship, co-op or previously worked in a manufacturing environment.
  •  This position will start onsite on the first day. This position is located in Waterloo, IA candidates MUST be able to relocate to this location at their own expense.

This position is subject to US Export Controls.  Must be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident.  Also must be available to work on W2 for Volt.  No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
