Volt Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a strong Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk to ensure that payments for goods and services are received, and that those transactions are recorded accordingly. The right candidate will be a team-player with strong communication skills and diligence in their work.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining the billing system
- Generating invoices and account statements
- Performing account reconciliations
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
- Posting customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Verifing validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers
- Resolving valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries
- Resolving invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures
- Summarizing receivables by maintaining invoice accounts, coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing reports
- Producing monthly financial and management reports
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
- Assisting in general financial management and analysis
- Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Associates degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience in accounts receivable
- Knowledge of financial software
- An ability to prioritize and manage expectations
- A keen eye for detail
- An ability to work independently
- The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently
