Accounts Receivable Specialist in Durham, NC at Volt

Job Description

Volt is now hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client’s talented Accounting & Finance Department in the RTP, NC area.

The duration of this assignment is up to three months with the possibility of extension.

Job Duties Include:

• Prepare daily cash deposits and payments received from the bank;
• Verify and post accounts receivable transactions for a high-volume Accounts Receivable department;
• Monitor centralized email inbox to support both internal and external customers;
• Follow up on denied billing to resolve discrepancies and collect funds;
• Other projects and tasks may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and cash applications;
• Proficiency in Excel; 
• SAP experience preferred;
• Advanced thought process and critical thinking skills needed;
• Experience with collections a plus.
