Downtown, Portland

Full Time

M-F, 8am-5pm

1 Year Assignment (Temporary)

$19-$24 Hourly DOE

Our Client is a $2.8B Insurance company committed to expedient, personal customer support. We are currently filling the need for an Administrative Assistant position in Portland, OR. The successful candidate will provide complex administrative support to the Quality Assurance Teams.

Job Functions:

  • Contribute to the company’s success through excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding performance objectives for the following major job functions.
  • Type, edit and proofread letters, memos, reports, presentation materials, and correspondence
  • Receive and prioritize incoming correspondence and phone calls. Respond to inquiries, including responding to routine requests for materials and information.
  • Compile, coordinate and prepare required departmental reports.
  • Request files needed from other locations
  • Support and communicate with Internal Customers

Demonstrated Skills:

  • Highly collaborative, proactive self-starter
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate work assignments;
  • Type 60 WPM,
  • Communicate and interact with persons at all levels in the organization, industry and community.
  • Knowledge of MS office Suite including: word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications;
  • Previous experience scheduling and coordinating events, travel and meetings
  • Detail oriented
  • Professional demeanor with ability to use discretion
  • Exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality

Education: Associates degree with additional college coursework or Bachelors degree.

Experience: Three years of advanced administrative experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
