Job Description

Volt is hiring a Administrative Admin to Support Logistic group which includes  material/inventory/production control departments.

To provide a variety of clerical work for the material/inventory/production control department. To accurately update and maintain appropriate systems by making necessary inputs and adjustments.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assembles, verifies, and inputs production/inventory/materials control data into the appropriate on line system. 

2. Reviews and reconciles various reports. Makes adjustments to on line systems when necessary. Reconciles discrepancies between systems by making corrections to data and may assist in determining causes for discrepancies. Maintains and inputs data into databases. Performs any calculations needed to update a system. 

3. Maintains and checks the accuracy and completeness of inventory balances between corporate and plant balances. 

4. May assist, in a support role, with scheduling and/or ordering of materials in the production scheduling or material/inventory control function.

5. Performs general clerical duties. May prepare and update worksheets, graphs and reports. Distributes reports to the appropriate personnel. 

Job Skills/Competencies: The employee primarily uses coordinating skills to coordinate schedules, collect and distribute standard reports, place materials or supply orders, etc. Also required are communication, basic mathematical and software/word processing skills.

-1st shift temp to hire

-Pay rate: $18.00-20.00/hr.
