NOW HIRING! Administrative Assistant 

Pay Rate: $DOE 

Location: Carpinteria, CA 

Temporary Assignment (3 months) 

Job Description: 

  • Create, monitor, collect and update progress on production schedule for all equipment
  • resources within scope of manufacturing area; includes sequencing of RFMs, back-order
  • processing/rescheduling according to daily short-term MRP review.
  • Main point of contact for site supply planning to support demand.
  • Create and maintain Bill Of Materials 
  • Master data creation and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing and QA to resolve material issues.
  • Collaborate with MFG and materials management to ensure timely release of production orders
  • and transfer requirements.
  • Manage scheduling for inter-site transfers (if applicable).
  • Collaborate with purchasing to expedite components.
  • Work closely with Customer Care regarding daily scheduling issues.
  • All other duties assigned by management.

Skills/Experience 

Ability to read, analyze, manufacturing procedures. Ability to present scheduling information and respond to manufacturing questions from employees. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write manufacturing status reports and correspond with sales staff as needed. Responds to all e-mail correspondence in Microsoft Outlook promptly.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience. APICS knowledge/experience desired. - Good Computer skills (WORD, EXCEL, and ACCESS) MACOLA experience preferred.
