Our client, a major defense/technology company, is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to be a part of the admin team supporting a group of technical and engineering professionals at their location in Tucson AZ.


• Collaborate across departments to coordinate new hire onboarding activities which include: ordering assets/seating assignments/network access for new employees

• Working with the admin team to support management initiatives

• Drafting departmental and directorate correspondence

• Organizing and prioritizing leadership calendars to minimize schedule conflicts

• Planning and coordinating domestic/international travel

• Preparing and submitting expense reports

• Reserving and approving conference rooms

• Arranging business lunches


• High School diploma with 4+ years’ related experience

• Proficient in Outlook and the Microsoft Office suite including: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

• Demonstrated professional experience working in an administrative environment

• Highly proficient in organizing data and documents with the ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel information

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to respond quickly and effectively to non-routine requests and situations

• Self-starter with initiative and independent judgment for assisting management and employees

• Proficient with database management

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
