Job Description

Our client, a major global manufacturing company, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for their R&D facility in Spokane Valley.  This is a part-time position, with about 20-30 hours per week expected.

The position will support the facility’s day-to-day administrative activities under the guidance of the Business Team (finance, accounting, and supply chain). 

Responsibilities:

Scanning, Filing, and Organizing Accounting Documents 
• Invoices from suppliers in AP Ledger 
• Packing information on outbound freight  
• Prepare and distribute bills of lading for outbound shipments 

Documentation and Tracking of Monthly Office Inventory 
• Collect and organize shipping and receiving documents 
• Conduct physical inventory of standards documents, update business team to issue reorder 
• Collect general office supply order information for reorder 

Miscellaneous Administrative Support Activities 
• coordinate meetings, visitor lunches, and other functions 
• Connect with new vendors to gather information needed for SAP vendor setup 
• Answering and directing phone calls in absence of AP/AR teammates 
• Collect and distribute daily office mail 
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information

Requirements:

B.A./B.S. degree and relevant administrative experience.
