Seeking Policy Service Representatives in the Lake Mary, FL area for a long term temp to perm position. Policy support rep will support Business Insurance Policies.

There are multiple positions available the Lake Mary location. We are hiring for the following shifts:
Monday through Friday: 1st shift
Monday through Friday: 2nd shift (12:00:8:15)

Job Description

Under limited supervision, handles policy transactions for one line of business that may include policy issuance, policy change endorsements or renewals within Commercial or Specialty lines. May also handle all relevant processing transactions for a given business unit or set of business units that share common platforms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Reviews incoming business transactions and related information for completeness, accuracy, and quality.

  • Works with underwriter and other areas to resolve any discrepancies and process insurance policies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • May provide input to workflow activities required to process insurance policy based on line of business.
  • Regularly reviews and adheres to department processing guidelines and procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • May distribute quote letters and/or insurance policies to agents, brokers, underwriters, and/or insureds.
  • Responds to policy service requests from underwriters, agents, and brokers for assigned lines of business/transaction types.
  • May participate in quality and productivity reviews and provide feedback to management.
  • May perform additional duties as assigned.

5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business related software.
6. Ability to meet performance standards in a fast paced, production environment.
 

Education & Experience
1. High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
2. Typically a minimum 2 years of office/clerical experience.

Property and Casualty Insurance experience is a plus
