Volt is seeking an Analyst/Developer to work onsite at our client’s facility in Peoria, IL.  This is a contingent position forecasted for one year.  Within this role, you will:

  • Modify and develop new programs for probabilistic analysis of capacity investment decisions, production network throughput optimization, and demand forecast simulation
  • Collaborate with other team members (responsible for IU, database layer and deployment across the enterprise); coding is mostly done in C#, SQL and R

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics required
  • 2+ years of professional work experience required after completion of college/university degree
  • Professional C# and SQL coding capability and experience (5+ years of C# coding experience preferred)
  • Experience with R coding highly preferred; other desirable languages - .NET and VB
  • Experience developing mathematical models
  • Exposure to probability/statistics
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with the rest of the development and deployment team to share information and solve problems
  • Strong attention to detail
