Application Support Analyst - SmartPlant Construction Administrator
Enterprise Services - Technology Operations
San Antonio, TX

Seeking a SmartPlant Construction Administrator that will be responsible for the administration, configuration, implementation, and integration of Intergraph Smart Construction and related applications within the company in support of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and Work Face Planning (WFP).

• Develop, configure, maintain & support Intergraph Smart Construction installations
• Administer solution to support Installation Work Package creation, reporting & change management
• Configure mapping between Engineering 3D models and non-model object attribute sources
• Coordinate with clients, partners, vendors, and internal customers on project standards, data requirements, and integration
• Provide training and on-site production support in alignment with company AWP standards
• Facilitate interoperability standards between Smart Construction and other engineering, procurement and construction AWP systems and solutions
• Develop Smart Construction installation, configuration, administration, and process documentation
• Develop specialized solutions to satisfy project requirements while operating within the constraints of standardized tools and processes wherever possible
• Maintain working knowledge of best practices for management, administration, and use of application(s)
• Support other areas of IT team and other duties, activities and projects as assigned by management

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering Technology or Computer Information Systems/Computer Science; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Experience administrating SmartPlant Construction and one or more of the following: AutoCAD Plant 3D, SmartPlant 3D, Aveva PDMS, Aveva E3D.
• Adept at interpreting complex data and documents
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Broad working knowledge of EPC Information Management tools and activities related to AWP
• A strong understanding of EPC workflow and lifecycle, data management practices, database technologies, data presentation, data modeling, project data lifecycles, and project data domains.

• Working knowledge of ISO15926, iRing, iModel, and PCF/UCF
• Working knowledge of software development techniques, methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Experience executing business strategy in an IT or business support work environment
• Experience with process improvement and facilitation

Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely. Ability and willingness to work in a hands-on environment and able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Will work in a general office environment. Capable of operating and functioning in a fast-paced work environment. Must possess a vision (corrected or uncorrected) that allows for clear visibility from a distance of 20 inches or less.
