Volt Workforce Solutions has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Architectural Product Manufacturing Representative / Continuing Education for our client.  This is direct hire role anywhere USA. 

About Our client:

Largest & most highly specified manufacturer of attachment systems for metal roofs in the world!   

Position Overview:

Responsible for creating architectural recognition and influencing specification position for  our client.  Products resulting in increased company sales volume, must have worked with building relationships with architects.  Can be taught exact product line.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):

  • Visit Architects and Specifiers and present the client Product line, story and value proposition.**
  • Respond to Architect and Specifier requests for product and/or technical information, planning assistance and specification assistance.**
  • Influence architects and specifiers choice of products through positive promotion of features and benefits.**
  • Provide architectural training through AIA CEU presentations.**
  • Monitor project lead information, process substitution requests, disseminate leads and report on win/loss.**
  • Track key projects and build relationships with key architects.
  • Measure specification position and target/prioritize specific architect firms based on that position.
  • Be active in architectural and specifier organizations and participate in trade shows for same.
  • Obtain additional education and accreditation to be conversant with architects and specifiers.
  • Provide feedback from the field on success of promotional activities, market trends and provide suggestions for future products, markets and promotions.

Supervision Received:

  • Product and technical training.
  • Training in company history, policies, procedures and reporting.
  • Coaching on how products are promoted and positioned.
  • Instruction on planning and time management.
  • Development of annual goals and objectives with periodic reviews.

Supervision Exercised:

  • Manage appointment schedule and calendar.  Develop travel plans.
  • Manage expenses within predetermined budget.
  • Provide regular reporting of activities.
  • Coordinate activities with other company personnel and provide timely feedback as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience and skill in calling on architects/specifiers and influencing specifications.
  • Understanding of architectural specifications and the specification process.
  • High level of motivation, passion and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work self managed and manage own time.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
  • Ability to train and present to large groups.
  • Desire to win in a highly competitive environment.
  • Experience promoting at trade shows.
  • Previous experience with building products required.  Experience with metal roofing a plus.
  • Membership in CSI required preferred.  CDT accreditation a plus. 
  • Previous use of electronic project lead services preferred.
