Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is actively hiring a motivated and enthusiastic Assembly Operator within a wonderful company with room for growth! 

Title: Assembly Operator 1st Shift $12/HR

Summary: The Assembler is responsible for performing advanced assembly operations of complex assemblies in accordance with quality and quantity standards.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to perform advanced assembly.
  • Train employees in basic & complex assembly operations.
  • Perform all work in accordance with Standard Work outline without assistance.
  • Perform all work in a safe manner, to include proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Follow Specification of inspections as noted.
  • Perform checks and tests production to insure assembled output meets requirements per AQL standards.
  • Utilize properly calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and other measuring tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
  • Prior Assembly experience is a plus!
  • Able to use hand/power tools and calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and other measuring tools.
