Assembly – Wiring Technician


Volt is partnering with Schneider Electric in the Hopkins, SC area and currently seeking experienced Wiring Technicians for a long-term temporary to hire opportunity. Wiring positions require candidates to read and interpret schematics and blueprints to assemble and wire various switchboard and switchgear products.  If you meet the qualifications listed below – Apply Now!

Responsibilities for assembler roles include but are not limited to:

  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and material lists.
  • Work with wiring schemes such as; PLC’s, Circuit Monitors and other advanced electronic devices.
  • Perform mechanical assembly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor; cross-train.
  • Overtime work on a short notice to meet customer service.

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Good hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills performing repetitive motions
  • Able to work independently and with others
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods on a concrete floor
  • Able to lift over 35lbs over work period
  • Knowledge and experience in assembly and wiring techniques.
  • Ability to train and learn in a fast-paced environment (4 weeks training provided).
  • Must work well with others in a loud production environment
  • Must be able to successfully complete a client specific background check and drug test.

We have openings for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday from 5AM - 5:30PM + overtime).

This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity.
