Job Description

Volt has an opening for a Junior Security Systems Administrator with McAfee VirusScan, EPO Console, Move, Dell Data Protection Enterprise or RSA SecureID experience to aid in enterprise – wide technology creation, advancement, and support. This will include operating software and hardware monitoring tools to aid in preservation of optimal functioning technology. Essential Functions

  • Aid in planning of infrastructure for use throughout the organization; install portions of, and help maintain infrastructure throughout organization
  • Assist to determine enterprise system requirements, and to develop test plans, ultimately contributing to project work
  • Understand guidelines for system implementation in regards to retaining system security
  • Monitor system performance; perform simple to moderate problem determination, and with minimal assistance determine problem resolution(s)
  • Contribute to impact analysis regarding enterprise – wide technology
  • Aid to support system integration, software and hardware at enterprise level for optimum performance
  • Aid in the support of a variety of projects throughout their lifecycle and continually support enterprise – level technology
  • Aid to develop and maintain computer systems’ software and hardware
  • Monitor and determine system performance
  • Team with senior personnel to aid in impact analysis regarding enterprise – wide technology

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Three years of related experience
  • McAfee VirusScan, EPO, Move, Dell Data Protection Enterprise or RSA SecureID
  • Prefer three years of technology experience
  • Knowledge of application architecture, operating systems, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem - solving skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Meet organization best practices, expectations, and standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Is aware of risks and escalate as appropriate
