Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking an Automation Technician to ensure the manufacturing line equipment is running smoothly.

Job Responsibilities:

Daily overview of the equipment and how it is performing. Repair, rebuild or upgrade when necessary. Complete regularly scheduled maintenance. Create, update, and modify maintenance documents and schedule. Oversee spare part inventory. When necessary – overtime and weekend work.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years or more of experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial and automated equipment.
  • Knowledge of IT support functions – data backup and computer maintenance.
  • Ability to initiate and follow computer programs as well as understanding test set up.
  • Full understanding and experience with calibrated tools, pneumatic power tools, torque drivers, calipers and pin or hole gauges.
  • Ability to follow complex work instructions.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Customer service savvy.
  • Positive, professional attitude.

Preferred:

PLC and robot programming skills
