Job Description

Our client, located in Andover, MA is looking for a passionate and skilled AWS Software Developer in Test to help us deliver their new platform. We are seeking a talented ‘hands on’ engineer to join the growing Cloud team in the Andover, MA office. As a member of the Cloud team you will work closely with Development, DevOps, QA, and CyberSecurity.  Please review the description and apply today if you are qualified and interested. 

The AWS Software Developer in Test will be responsible for taking ownership of developing our internal testing framework. Verifying the successful integration testing of our AWS Cloud platform. Also includes designing and developing integration tests for a distributed system, executing tests, trouble-shooting defects, and working with individual development teams to resolve issues. She/he will ensure best practices are followed while being responsive in a dynamic and iterative Agile development setting. 

• Taking ownership of developing a testing framework 
• Object-oriented design and coding skills (Python, Java, JavaScript, C#) 
• Coding experience with automated testing framework such as Selenium 
• Evaluate and recommend additional tools to increase productivity as necessary 
• Perform full stack integration testing within our continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline 

• At least 2 year experience in AWS development environment 
• Demonstrate strong knowledge in software quality testing principles, practices, and patterns 
• 2 years experience with scripting language such as Python, Java 
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, both written and oral 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field 
• Any cloud experience a plus 
• Agile/Scrum/SAFe experience a plus
