Volt is looking to hire a Bilingual Customer Service Representative for our Client in the Procurement and Mining industry in Montreal, QC. This role is a 12 months assignment for now, with the possibility of extension.

Our Designated Manager is looking for a strong Customer Service oriented candidate to join her dynamic team in Montreal. The primary focus of this role is to provide Customer Service and perform Sales administrative activities for a delegated portfolio of US, Canadian and Overseas customers.


Accountabilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer questions and requests in a timely fashion
  • Perform Sales administrative activities and maintain customer data in RTA business system as required
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and good relationship with our external and internal customers
  • Manage inquiries, orders, shipments to meet customer needs
  • Manage inventory & warehouse reconciliations with different internal and external parties involved
  • Recommend and provide input for continuous improvements to business processes and procedures
  • Prepare required reporting for month end, track orders and take adequate actions to meet business and customer requirements
  • Document customer complaints
  • Attend mandatory training sessions
  • Other related responsibilities may be assigned

Required skills

  • University Degree or collegial degree with experience in administration or customer service
  • Great team work with strong interpersonal skills and can maintain effective work relationship with colleagues
  • Superior command of the French and English language
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast pace, demanding and changing environment
  • Candidate must be autonomous and proactive, be able to prioritize their work
  • Rapid learner & adapt to various situations
  • Ability to work under pressure and time and time constraints, meet tight deadlines and maintain attention to details
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • Asset: Good knowledge of SAP & Microsoft Excel
