Volt is looking to hire a Recruitment Officer (Procurement focused) four our Client in the Procurement and Mining industry in Montreal, QC. This role is a 6 months assignment for now, with the possibility of extension.

Job Summary:

We are looking to hire a Recruitment Officer to provide professional recruitment support services to specific Business Units for our Client in Montreal, QC for approximately a 6 month contract. The incumbent will provide recruitment support in Canada, working with partners, hiring managers and other stakeholders.
 

Duties:

Under the authority of the Head of Department, Recruitment, the incumbent will work five days a week and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage a large volume of role to fill that will encompass professional and operational disciplines as part of a "end to end" recruitment process
  • Sorting resumes, initiating telephone interviews, scheduling interviews, initiating psychometric testing requests, scheduling medical
  • Make job postings in our system and job boards
  • Track applications received via our Cornerstone tracking tool
  • Collaborate with Senior Advisors, Regional Recruitment Partners and in-house talent research to ensure clarity of strategy and selection of appropriate candidates

Requirements:  

  • 3-5 years of recruitment experience
  • Qualification in Human resources
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft software suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
  • Focused on service delivery
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Resourcefulness, organization, priority management
  • Bilingual in French and English 100% preferred (written/spoken)
