Volt Workforce Solutions is currently looking to add a Branch Coordinator to our team in Fresno, CA.  Our office houses multiple lines of business and is seeking support that can work well under pressure in a fast-paced industry!  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Answer the telephone and help or direct callers as appropriate and according to VWS guidelines.

      Greet walk-in guests immediately with a formal introduction and warm reception.

  • Maintain the appearance of the front reception area.
  • Ensure WOTC compliance
  • Maintain proper Workers Comp Claims and Disability files and assist employees as necessary.
  • Assist on all UI claims.
  • Timely maintenance of administrative tasks.
  • Maintain branch calendar to organize and schedule orientations and interviews.
  • Maintain email inbox and respond in a timely manner.
  • Participate and collaborate in location meetings and events, including team requisition meetings.
  • Order Office Supplies.
  • Process invoices.
  • Assist with Corporate compliance processes.
  • Ensure timely data entry and maintain data integrity of candidate and field employee information as needed/requested.
  • Maintain file management per VWS guidelines.
  • Build positive working relationships with internal team members and business partners.
  • Fixed asset coordination including tagging, inventory as well as processing retirement and disposal of assets with manager approval.


  • Responsible for processing weekly payroll for field employees, including receiving and distributing payroll and researching and resolving all related payroll issues.
  • Review timecard expected report weekly and make updates and changes to records as needed. Evaluate missing time report, taking appropriate action when needed.
  • Responsible for processing any referral bonuses and other employee benefits accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Send required payroll forms and documentation to SAS and SAV
  • Cross train on all payroll functions

Employee Support

  • Facilitate field employee onboarding process including, but not limited to:
  • Utilizing most up to date VTCs and forms, correct customer specific documents, Online Application, orientation, pre-employment screenings, Form I-9 and eVerify, driving direct deposit, explanation of benefits
  • Tier 1 employee questions and maintenance; turn calls into employee quality calls.
  • Ensure quality field employee experience through excellent customer service
  • Facilitate employee recognition
  • Assist with questions, concerns and escalations on Employee Benefits
  • Send thank you notes and birthday cards to employees
  • Build positive working relationships with all field employees
  • Encourage employees to develop skill sets
  • Work with location manager, recruiter and/or BDM on employee relations matters
  • Ability to arrive to work at a specified time.
  • Attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Perform special assignments/complete projects as needed.

Position Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3 to 5 years related work experience.
  • Background in Customer Service preferred.
  • Experience developing strategy and strategic plans.
  • Staffing industry experience preferred.
