VOLT’s client is looking for a Cook/Bunkhouse Supervisor

This is an estimated 3-6 month contract to hire position in Noxon, Montana. This is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support many of the top-rated IT companies in the US!


  • Oversee the operations and maintenance of the Clark Fork and Noxon Rapids bunkhouses, while functioning as a lead cook.
  • Provide oversite and work direction to bunkhouse facility staff. Ensure facilities are adequately maintained to enable full occupancy and maximum availability.
  • Creation of meal plan for guests on regular reoccurring basis; procurement of supplies necessary for planned meals and incidentals; prepares, cooks, and serves meals to employees, contractors, and guests in a cafeteria setting.
  • Post meal bussing and sanitizing of tables; washing/drying of preparation and serving utensils, dishes and equipment.
  • Responsible for the routine cleaning of the kitchen area during regular operation as well as the deep cleaning prior to seasonal closing of the kitchen area.
  • Maintaining an organized and functional work environment free from hazards and/or contaminants.


  • Scheduling and coordination of bunkhouse use for our Client’s employees and select contractors. Including processing occupant requests and developing a weekly schedule and menu.
  • Primary contact for bunkhouse facility issues. May require immediate response and ability to find intermediate solutions until further assistance is available.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with internal and contract service providers to satisfy facility maintenance plans and update maintenance records in the enterprise asset management system.
  • Administrative responsibilities including time validation and approval, credit card purchase verification and approval, mileage submission, and invoice processing for both bunkhouses and facility staff.
  • Plans in advance and prepares nutritious and appetizing menus, which may include a variety of proteins, fruits, and vegetables. Determines quantities and types of food to prepare based on schedule of anticipated guests.
