Job Description

Burn-In Technician

This company in Lake Oswego, Oregon which is a pioneer in developing innovative technologies and medical devices that save and enhance the quality of life for millions of individuals living with cardiovascular disorders is seeking a Burn-In Technician for a temp to hire role.

The selected candidate will load/unload parts in burn-in. Load / run burn-in recipes. Verify correct system operation. Order and/or perform periodic maintenance and calibrations. Troubleshoot system, electrical, and mechanical problems as necessary and order or perform repairs as necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess an AA degree or Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering. Must have two or more years relevant experience in Burn-In, IC Test, or reliability test. Must have two or more years' experience using tools (examples: scopes & meters) for analyzing / troubleshooting electronics. Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently. Ability to problem-solve with demonstrated hands-on experience. Excellent computer skills, fully versed in MS Windows and compatible word processors, spreadsheets, e-mail, etc. Familiarity with Incal CR18 or similar design dynamic burn-in ovens a plus. Capable and curious to learn about board layout and troubleshooting for burn-in boards. This is a swing shift position, so the candidate must be able to work 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm Monday- Friday.
