Job Description

Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking a Business Analyst Operations.  This is a contingent position forecasted for 1 Year in Waterloo IA with John Deere.


Responsible for evaluating existing business processes, recommends and implements process improvements, assist and/or leads resolving business process problems and serves as a resource for addressing daily production or process related issues. May include developing recommending and implementing pricing strategies, developing Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) processes and recommending master schedule changes.


Evaluates existing business processes and assists in resolving issues that arise relating to those processes. Ensures that unit processes are in alignment with the Division processes and objectives. Manages the Order Fulfillment Process by developing, recommending and implementing strategies to the master schedule. Investigates, analyzes and resolves business process issues in order to correct deficiencies, reduce costs and improve processes and performance. Analyzes business forecasts, recommends changes to the business schedules and creates and maintains master production schedules and shipping schedules. Participates in and facilitates regularly scheduled meetings with management and representatives from the factory and marketing to discuss current and future business process needs, both current and future.

The JDPS customer product support PDP team is managing multiple large EPDP programs, engaging globally with India and China and expanding the value we provide to PDP programs. To deliver our services in a more cost-effective manner, we are requesting a resource to assist with meeting facilitation & scheduling, generating reports, diagnostic tracking, updating presentations and maintaining Sharepoint sites.

Specific Position Requirements:


Required skills include:

• Proficiency with MS Office Applications including Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint

• Excellent organizational, communication and facilitation skills

• Ability to run reports, identify gaps and follow up with individuals on action items

Expected benefits include:

• Consistency in meeting scheduling and facilitation (Diagnostics reviews, Failure Review Board, PDP Reliability Team, Reliability CoP)

• Updated and simplified Sharepoint for Programs, CS team and Subsystem Team information

• Focus full-time and contingent resources on higher skilled analysis and influence

• Will consider recent graduates with good organizational and Microsoft Office skills; or Associate Degree with some applicable experience.
