Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking a Supply Management Business Analyst to be responsible for evaluating existing business processes, recommends and implements process improvements, leads resolving business process problems and serves as a resource for addressing daily production or process related issues.  Developing, recommending and implementing pricing strategies, Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) and recommending master schedule changes.  This position is a contingent role forecasted for one year available in Dubuque, IA.

  • Develop global service part forecasts for newly adopted service parts using historical data, engineering and product support input, and product and component knowledge.

  • Participates in, and facilitate regularly scheduled meetings with representatives from product support, supply management, engineering and marketing to define service part requirements.

  • Evaluates existing business processes and assists in resolving issues that arise relating to those processes.

  • Execute business activities in alignment with the Division processes, policies, and objectives.

  • Manages the Order Fulfillment Process by developing, recommending and implementing strategies to the master schedule.

  • Investigates, analyzes and resolves business process issues in order to correct deficiencies, reduce costs and improve processes and performance.

  • Analyzes business forecasts, recommends changes to the business schedules and creates and maintains master production schedules and shipping schedules.

  • Review service part forecasts and recommend adjustments to the forecast and ordering activity.

  • Analyze metrics and data to improve business processes to improve overall customer experience with service part support performance

Relevant Work Experiences:

 • Experience in planning, organizing, and implementing engineering projects.

• Manufacturing and/or operations experience.

• Experience working in one or more operations support functions such as purchasing, warehousing, logistics, service parts management and procurement, etc.

 • Experience purchasing, designing, and/or repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic machine systems and components

• Experience in use of statistical tools and techniques for quality management.


BS in Business, Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain Management or similar experience

Background in Supply, Operations management or scheduling

Must be proficient in MS Office Suite

Data Analysis—able to generate reports from various data bases and computer systems.

Experience in service support environment

Ideal Candidate will be Familiar with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic machine systems and components., have project management skills, be proficient with SAP.
