Job Description

Volt has an opening for a Business Analyst for a client in Rancho Cordova, CA who is an experienced asset manager/analyst. Primarily a software and secondarily a hardware analyst with in depth knowledge of software/hardware lifecycle, compliance analysis & reporting. Experience with BDNA (Data normalization) and ServiceNow (Asset Management) is a plus. In this position, you will:

  • Evaluate business process changes to identify and document business impacts and benefits
  • Act as subject matter expert
  • Conduct effective interview/research to determine and document the stakeholders, business needs and requirements
  • Create and analyzes workflow diagrams
  • Review technical design deliverables
  • Assist business stakeholders with user acceptance testing, defect reporting and resolution
  • Assist with training and provide post implementation support
  • Develop presentations of materials, models, findings, plans and/or conclusions

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent analytical experience
  • Three years of experience in data gathering, research & analytics, problem identification, and presenting solution recommendations
  • Three years of experience with financial and risk analysis, making recommendations and preparing business cases including cost benefit analysis
  • Three years of experience using project planning techniques and methodologies
  • Three years business process analytics skills within Excel, flowcharting, activity diagrams and workflow models
  • Ability to effectively communicate information
