Volt's Design Technical Services (DTS) is growing! We have an exciting opportunity for the right person with potential of unlimited earnings based on your performance!

Volt's Design and Technical Service is actively looking for a dynamic sales professional to lead and sell technical IT projects within a geographic territory. The Business Development Manager (BDM) has the responsibility for establishing priorities for the revenue growth of existing and new customers within the IT space. This includes responsibility for establishing new customer relationships and maintaining and growing existing customers for short term plans. The IT BDM will partner in conjunction with the management team to achieve the company's goals while creating a strong value based brand with the customer base.

DTS is seeking IT Sales Executives to help us grow our extensive range of Engineering Services in the Twin Cities market. Are you a strategic thinker? Are you experienced at Complex Solution Selling? What are the minimum skills set requirements for the position?

  • 5 years selling Engineering/*Technical related contract services
  • 10 years total sales experience which would include *technical services or staffing or *technical solutions
  • Demonstrated sales results in opening new accounts/new customers
  • Demonstrated "Cold Calling" capabilities, including social networks to warm up calls
  • 4 year degree - will consider associate degree if solid technical sales experience

What would be nice to haves but not necessary for this position?

  • Blend of experience selling both Engineering and IT solutions would be a plus
  • 4 year technical degree (Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or *Technical degree)
  • 10+ years Engineering/*Technical related contract services and 15 years total sales experience
