Job Description

Volt is seeking a Predictive Maintenance Technician with a focus in Calibration and experience in a manufacturing environment for an exclusive role with a prestigious company in San Diego!

Where is it located?

El Cajon, Ca (92020)

What is the shift? 2nd shift; typically 2pm-10pm

What is the pay rate? DOE

What are the job responsibilities?

  • Develop and document a detailed procedure for the Calibration and collection of relative predictive data for several specific pieces of equipment.
  • Maintain and analyze compiled historical documentation to predict equipment failures and issues.
  • Set up and operate Renishaw Laser Calibration equipment, Renishaw Ballbar, vibration analysis equipment, and thermal measurement equipment.
  •  Measure machine performance and operate, program, and compensate a wide variety of different CNC controls to maintain positioning and alignment accuracy.
  • Record and analyze Thermal, Vibration, and Ballbar readings, and compare to historical data, to predict equipment failures and non-compliance factors.
  • Understanding of parametric programming of several different CNC Controls.
  • Computer skills in CMMS, Microsoft Word, Excel and Renishaw Software.

  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience with extensive knowledge of hand tools and measuring equipment.
