Job Description

Volt is seeking candidates for 2 Customer Service / Medial Accounts Receivable Representative positions with our client, a leader in pharmaceutical and medical field outsourcing, in the Oldsmar, FL area. Part - Time Position Summary

- Provide customer service and solutions that will help patients resolve their outstanding account balances. This requires representatives with the ability to answer patient questions regarding balances due from the patient and a previous knowledge of and understanding of general healthcare benefits, including deductible, copayments, coinsurance, and non-covered services

- Can multitask, type notes in the system as the call is occurring, and be detail-oriented to ensure errors do not occur when taking payments or making notes in a patient account

- Meet call center metrics and adhering to the outlined QA standards

- Will provide effective and timely resolution to patient inquiries and utilize all resources and tools to troubleshoot and diagnose patient balance issues


- Prior experience working in a healthcare in a call center, performing A/R follow-up, billing or other claim/insurance reimbursement related function

- Able to articulate and identify errors in a patient balance due to incorrect contractual adjustments, unpaid items, incorrect insurance filing, etc. preferred

- Ideal candidate will have experience handling a high volume of inbound/outbound calls

- Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required

- Successfully complete all pre-hire screens, including background check, drug screen, and credit check


- Adhere to a strict 90-Day probationary period; all employees are expected to be in full attendance within this 90-day period; Tardiness, call-outs and no-shows will not be tolerated and will result in the assignment ending for the representative if this becomes a problem

- Be flexible with scheduling and be available to work any hours between 8:00am – 9:00pm Monday-Friday

- Achieve the Core Metrics established for the department as it relates to Performance, Productivity and Quality

Shift Schedule: Currently M-F 11:30:AM-05:00:PM (Subject to change)
