Job Description

Production Lead 2nd Shift

Manage staff and materials to meet department schedules. Train new and current employees on departmental procedures and practices and equipment operation. Delegate tasks to team members. Work with account managers to ensure all required job information is accurate and documented. Coordinate job schedules within the department and provide production updates. Coordinate all department production scheduling to include manning decisions. Complete all production and quality reports. Work with the warehouse and inventory representatives on material movement. Ensure the sign off approvals meet production needs. Provide frequent updates to Production Supervisor regarding issues and problems in the department as well as provide ideas for potential solution. Responsible for acting as a positive role model to team members. Assist in the ISO Quality Management System and audits. Conduct visual checks of machinery and escalate any problems to leadership and maintenance. Contribute to the team’s production goals. Understand and comply with all departmental policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized work area. Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures. Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required. Behave in accordance with Travel Tags, Inc. Core Values. Ability to project a positive and inviting demeanor. Ability to delegate tasks, comprehend number sequencing and recognize errors, follow written and verbal directions, respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects. Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast paced work environment. Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned. Computer skills (Outlook, Excel and Word). Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English. High School Diploma. Lead or Supervisor experience preferred.
