Job Description

Volt is seeking to hire a dynamic, high energy and accomplished Channel Marketing Manager for a leading manufacturer of computer peripheral equipment including color & monochrome printers as well as multi-function products. 

A successful candidate would possess a minimum of 5-10 years of marketing experience in the printer industry. This senior level individual will oversee the channel strategy and execution for the Production Line and report to the Marketing Communications Director. In addition, the candidate will oversee the entire channel management, development, implementation, tracking/reporting programs and promotions in support of the marketing and sales strategies of the wide formation business unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates the development, execution and communication of wide format channel programs.  Ensures buy-in/approval for program from Sales organization and Marketing team.
  • Tracks channel program performance to ensure goals are being achieved.  If necessary, develops contingency plans to get programs back on track.  This may include proposing promotional pricing changes to achieve or exceed business plan as necessary, considering market and competitive changes.
  • Manages channel marketing budget. Tracks and processes invoices in a timely manner.
  • Manages channel partner recruitment. Identifies potential dealer targets and works with sales to sign-on new partners. Manages application, credit and internal set up processes.
  • Support channel tradeshow and events. Ensures product, collateral, etc. are shipped to show location, and will attend shows and events to help support sales.
  • Propose promotional pricing changes to achieve or exceed business plan as necessary, considering market and competitive changes

REQUIREMENTS:  College Graduate; MBA Preferred

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 10 years marketing experience in printer industry especially color production products
  • Data analysis, decision making skills, personnel management, excellent verbal/written skills, presentation skills

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 25-30% travel
