Job Description:

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking a Clinical Research RN located in Maplewood, MN. The individual hired for this position will have the opportunity to support the peri-operative business utilizing current/previous clinical expertise.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Clinical and technical support to the perioperative products
  • Contribute to new product development efforts including voice of customer research, understanding and educating teams on relevant clinical issues, customer product evaluation, and technical writing
  • Develop technical and product utilization content for labeling, package insert and product support materials
  • Attend local, regional, and national professional association conferences
  • Gain and share knowledge of new products and new practices in the operating room setting
  • Develop and deliver educational programs on OR practices to customers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current/Unrestricted license to practice nursing
  • Must be up-to-date on immunizations Hep B and Influenza
  • Must have conducted a TB test
  • Minimum 5 years’ direct patient care
  • Minimum 3 years’ operating room experience
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% domestically

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of medical industry trends including: Pay for Performance, Hospital Acquired Conditions; Reimbursement
  • CNOR® from the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses
  • Comfortable with the Microsoft suite (Word)
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Infection Prevention
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, make decisions, problem solve and prioritize the simultaneous management of multiple clinical studies
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • Technical writing experience
