We are currently hiring for CNC Operators!

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently hiring several CNC Operators for a top Manufacturing company in Gardena/California 

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

• Set up and operate any machine tool to perform any operation within its capacity where special fixtures and holding devices are furnished or not required.
•  Make machine adjustments for efficient machining operations.  Use precision measuring instruments, machines and gauges to check own work for conformance to specifications.
• Perform complete and independent setup of various machines such as lathes, mill/drill, and surface grinder, working from O.I.S., prints, sketches, oral and written instructions to determine the sequence of operations to be performed, dimensions and tolerances to be held, tools to use, method of locating, aligning and holding work and feeds and speeds.
•  As required, pre-set and/or sharpen cutting tools. 
   

Qualifications:

•  GED or Equivalent
• Formal training in area of specialty with 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related field.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.
