Job Description

Leader in High-End performance Automotive Parts is seeking skilled CNC Machine Mechanics to join their dynamic team!

SCOPE:
The Machine Maintenance Mechanic’s primary responsibility is troubleshooting various types of industrial equipment and ensuring Planned Maintenance (PM) procedures are completed. The Mechanic will also support the creation and documentation of PM procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair all assets to ensure their proper operating condition
  • Provide preventative and reactive maintenance on various complex CNCs – 5 axis milling, mill turn applications, horizontal and vertical lathes
  • Troubleshoot and repair control & electrical system failures involving – PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, servo amplifiers, Input/Output, field sensors, etc
  • Troubleshoot and repair various machine tool hydraulic & pneumatic systems – actuators, valves, pumps, filters, etc
  • Troubleshoot, adjust and repair machine tool mechanical systems – ball screws, linear rails, guideways etc
  • Perform regular CNC geometry assessments to validate machine accuracy
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

 Skills in:

  • Must have knowledge of Haas, Makino, Mori Seki CNC equipment
  • Must have knowledge of multiple types of shop equipment
  • Operation of power and manual tools
  • Operation of light and heavy equipment
  • Ability to:  Work varying shifts weekends and holidays
  • Work extended hours outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Perform heavy manual labor
  • Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 60 pounds
  • Operate various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public
  • Follow written and verbal instructions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of maintenance technician experience
  • 3+ years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repair
  • 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following CNC control systems: Haas, Makino, Mori Seki
