Description/Comment: Role mission :
The Junior Communications Specialist reports directly to the Blog and Podcast Channel Owner and is expected to be a strategic thinker with a meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
The Junior Communications Specialist must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, the Junior Communications Specialist should be innovative, organized and self-motivated with a keen interest in driving strategic messages to key internal and external role-players in the podcast and blog channels.

Main responsibilities:
Blogger community management
• Review, creation and vetting of blogger applications
• Onboarding support for new bloggers
• Post updates on Yammer for the blogging community

Blog site management
• Clean-up of the broken links in the global and regional blogs
• Reporting of metrics
• Support in uploading/editing content
• Copy writing and copy editing of blog pieces as well as social media pieces for blog promotion
• Ensure bloggers and social media managers respond to comments on the global and regional blogs
• Update author’s profiles in the global and regional sites with the latest information
• Update SEO score in the global and regional sites for all-posts on demand

• Support with transactional activities related to the podcasts channel

Skills and experience:

Education and experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing and/or related disciplines.
2. 1 - 2 years in communications, blog and/or social media management.


1. Knowledge in planning and creating content for blogs and social media, social media best practices and writing for the web.
2. Knowledge of design principles for digital media, including digital “do’s and don’ts” with reasonable understanding of user experience, user interface and accessibility.
3. Working knowledge of SEO and digital marketing.
4. Working knowledge of WordPress.
5. Ability to understand and analyze metrics, produce actionable insights based on data.
6. Excellent organizational skills, able to manage and priorities workload. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work remotely.
7. A can-do attitude – a willingness to face challenges and innovate. Be a lifelong learner.
8. Ability to work and communicate effectively within an international and diverse environment. Have a global mindset.
9. Value collaboration and working with teams across the organization.

Language requirements

1. Native / highly proficient English speaker and writer with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
