Compliance Specialist

3 month assignment

Bellevue, WA

Monday - Friday, 25 hours per week (hours flexible)

This is a temporary role with flexible part-time hours whose focus is on ensuring a successful execution of SOC Audits and Risk Analysis programs.



Job Duties:

  • Orchestrate & project manage the Annual SOC 1 & 2 Audits.
    • Work with Control Owners to ensure their procedures align with requirements and are appropriately documented.
    • Conduct weekly status meetings with control owners, and Auditors.
    • Ensuring supplied populations & sample evidence supports the controls being tested.
    • Manage the project to the approved timeline.
    • Ensure questions and follow up asks are responded to timely.
    • Schedule onsite interviews and provide onsite support as needed during the audit.
  • Provide project oversight support and administrative assistance with annual Security Risk Analysis & Privacy Assessment remediation efforts to both the IT Security team & Privacy/Compliance team.
    • Assist with remediation efforts, inclusive of drafting policy and process updates as deemed necessary.
    • Following up with assigned tasks/actions to ensure completion.
    • Provide status reports on remediation efforts weekly.
  • Provide assistance to the IT Systems/Infrastructure team with any documentation updates necessary for the corporate BCDR Program.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous exposure to healthcare, benefits administration, insurance, and key processes related to HIPAA compliance required.
  • Previous SOC Audit & Risk Assessment facilitation experience required.
  • Previous technical writing, research and analysis experience preferred.
  • Project Management Certification preferred
